This video seeks to explore the common Christian belief that the 'rest' Christ offered in Matthew 11:28 somehow replaces the rest of the Sabbath day. What we find is that the theme of rest that Jesus offers us is a different theme of rest that the seventh-day Sabbath is based on. As such, the catch-phrase "I rest in Christ" is actually the product of a mixed-metaphor and does not apply to the Sabbath day.
