He has composed for jazz bands and classical groups alike. But, rather than thinking about musical genres when he writes, Wayne focuses on the instruments and players first. Long version of Texas Flood by stevie ray vaughn ! Texas Flood is an electric blues album by blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan and his band Double Trouble, released in 1983. Although Texas Flood has three verses of lyrics, the song is more of a prolonged guitar solo, allowing Vaughan to show off his characteristic electric blues style. During live shows, he would often play portions of this song behind his back, arousing an enthusiastic crowd response. Stylistically, Texas Flood is structured around the common three chord blues progression. the jimi hendrix experience in 1967 fooling around in the studio. see jimi playing piano and violin. i particularly like when jimi pretends to play the violin with his teeth.hehe. the man had a great sense of humour. mabye this video was an attempt to record some promo film for a song as jimi is seen singing along with the tracks. the songs featured are Burning of the midnight lamp and The wind cries mary. very rare black and white footage. i thought i`d share this one with you good people as i have not seen it here before. enjoy, my fellow hendrix fans
