Time Displacement test from adam deeves on Vimeo. Inspired by the Slit Scan videos here on Vimeo, this is my first attempt using After Effects' Time Displacement effect. It's a bit chunky on the edges. I think this could be resolved with a much slower rotation or faster frame rate but my lo-tech studio limits me to a combination of 25fps and 33rpm. Having discovered this effect, I'm excited by its potential and will be experimenting further.
