The Band of Heathens "No Great Mystery" This week, Radio Without Borders begins with the story of an Austin band that happened by accident.Each member of The Band of Heathens was playing in a different band when they first met. They noticed each other because they had gigs with their respective bands each Wednesday night at a local club. They got together and soon were playing as a band called The Good Time Supper Club, which began attracting quite a following. But, for whatever mysterious reason, and I still haven't figured this one out, the local newspaper kept listing them as The Heathens.Well, if it works, go with it!
