During their first square in the 90's we saw the emergence of the Right Wing power elite in government, government by the wealthy for the wealthy, a veritable Plutocracy. During the opposition the terrorist attacks of 9-11 occurred and ratcheted up the vibe of fear. With Pluto in Sag wars over religious differences were in the stars. No we come to the final closing square as we see the crumbling of the Republican Party and the rise of the new Liberal Generation. You have Tea Party folks demonizing Obama as the Antichrist while the rest of the world welcomes the new winds of change already reflected in the regenerated diplomatic international climate. These next seven -nine years will be interesting indeed as we watch the revolution of consciousness phase in the 38 year Saturn-Pluto cycle draw to a close. This is the love story that landed Chrissy Dunaway in Australia to be with Cameron Reilly after a whirlwind romance in Ajaccio, Corsica where they meet at the International Napoleonic Congress in 2008. Chrissy or as she is known on twitter @fddlgrl and I  talk of Love at first sight and migration from Seattle to Australia. What lead her to rebel from her upbringing in Southern Utah as a Mormon, eventually to lead her to her move to Seattle and the counter Mormon culture there. Here is a view from both inside and outside Mormonism. Not forgetting  the good in the upbringing and what she has brought with her from that. Chrissy seems to have landed on her feet in her new life in Australia as a Teacher in the Suzuki Method and performer of Violin, diving into developing a small and already thriving network of students, group classes and orchestral performances. We also briefly discuss what she has noticed in the differences between the Australian and US cultures. This two part video is made from a radio interview between an Australian radio station and Cindie Travis who was passing through while traveling around the world on a bicycle. Photos and video were added to go along with the conversation. Cindie is asked, "Where did you begin your bike trip? She describes (with a map) the last five years of our around the world bicycle tour. Then she is asked, "How all this continuous travel has changed you? Do you ride all the time or take breaks and about bad weather? Cindie's "I can" description has always made this video a favorite.

In part two of this radio interview Cindie Travis is asked to explain DownTheRoad.org's future cycling and travel plan. Cindie is also asked: Do you still enjoy riding your touring bicycle? How many kilometers or miles have you ridden in the past five years? Do you meet many others traveling by bike? Have you had any accidents or bicycle crashes? How many flat tires, punctures, inner tubes, and tires have you gone through?

This is the first video released from a hour long interview with the famous "Bike Tourist Podcast." The podcast consisted of the interviewer Gabriele in Puerto Rico and us (Tim and Cindie Travis) while we were passing through Canberra Australia. In this series of videos I isolated individual questions and put still pictures into corresponding parts of the interview. The question asked in this short video is: "How did the pictures you took in South America compare to what you saw first hand"?

This is our first leg in Australia, bicycling through the states of South Australia and Victoria was an adventure in wildlife and ocean views. We rode along the Barossa Valley wine growing area, Murray River, Coorong National Park, Great Ocean Road, and the Otway Peninsula. So, join us on our around the world cycle tour

Our bicycle tour around Tasmania was exciting because of the unique wildlife like Tasmanian Devils and platypus as well as the unpredictable weather including rain, strong winds, and snow. We enjoyed visiting Cradle Mountain, Lake St. Clair and Mount Field National Parks.

During our around the world bicycle bike tour found a great place to rest in Asia.? This video is about a special bicycle touring home stay for travelers in Southeast Asia, Malaysia.? David's guesthouse for cyclists in Parit Buntar, between Penang and the Cameron Highlands is far from the backpacker and tourist trail but right in the middle of real Malaysian culture.? At David's we visited Chinese Buddhist and Indian Hindu Temples and saw unique religious ceremonies.? We also attended the Chinese Ghost Festival and an Indian Wedding.? Cycling through Laos was educational because it taught us about the inequalities in the world. In much of Southeast Asia, poverty is the norm. As you watch this video we ride past traditional houses with no source of clean drinking water or protection from malaria carrying mosquitoes. Living in these impoverished conditions did not stop the poor children from greeting us as we rode by. Several scenes of this video were filmed from the seat of my touring bike while I was riding one handed and looking through the camera.
