The 14th Annual Holiday Parade of Lights proceeded along Barrington Street in downtown Halifax. Halifax's-own Santa Claus Parade had attracted 100,000 spectators. This event was organized by the Chronicle-Herald newspaper, Eastlink, and the Downtown Halifax Business Association.
