Filed under: Concerts and Tours, News, Exclusive, Movies Sea Wolf's massive fall tour will close with a grand finale when some of Hollywood's brightest young stars gather for the 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' nationwide cast tour kickoff at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Los Angeles on Nov. 6. The indie outfit will perform at the event alongside Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina and Band of Skulls followed by a Q&A with several cast members, including teen heartthrobs Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed and Jamie Campbell Bower. In short, it's going to be a mob scene. "They expect thousands of people. It's going to be interesting," says Alex Brown Church, who records as Sea Wolf. Church's song, 'The Violet Hour,' is featured on the recently released movie soundtrack alongside impressive indie artists like Radiohead's Thom Yorke, Death Cab For Cutie and Grizzly Bear. The moody melodic song wasn't written especially for the film -- it was actually recorded during summer 2008, when Church was creating his second album, the September-released 'White Water, White Bloom.' "It was really an extra song. I didn't want to put it on the record," he says. "It was a bit more of a pop song. It didn't fit the vibe I wanted for this record. But it's a totally cool song for a movie ... like 'Twilight.'"

A stunningly epic wildlife conservation documentary feature film following adventurer and biologist Chris Morgan traversing some of the wildest places on earth by motorbike, seeking out the rarest of the bear species and meeting the people dedicated to saving them from extinction. Chris camps with brown bears in Alaska for the salmon run, tracks the sun bear in Borneo and learns about the ancient beliefs that have inspired remote villages in Peru to conserve the Machu Picchu bears. In India he meets sloth bears in tiger country then polar bear cubs in the Alaskan Arctic before ending his journey in the Mongolian desert tracking the rarest of them all; the Gobi bear. With profits from the film being donated to the organisations featured this is the essential documentary for anyone that cares about bears, wildlife, wild places, conservation and the natural world, from Wildlife Media.

Filed under: News, New Music, Movies While millions of vampire enthusiasts have been salivating over any footage and pictures from 'Twilight' sequel 'New Moon,' we're personally squealing like teenagers over the film's just-announced soundtrack. Featuring a buzzed-about new song from Radiohead's Thom Yorke, a duet by Bon Iver and St. Vincent and more new songs from the likes of Grizzly Bear, Death Cab for Cutie and others, this soundtrack is shaping up to be the best indie rock compilation of 2009. While it's been common knowledge that Ben Gibbard and company's new song, 'Meet Me on the Equinox' will serve as the album's first single, the rest of the soundtrack, whic hits stores Oct. 20, had been the subject of rampant speculation by both 'Twilight' fans and music geeks across the country. Grizzly Bear released an official video this week for While You Wait for the Others, from their latest (and stunning, we might add) album, Veckatimest.
