Bonnaroo 2008 Festival-goers on Day 4-Manchester TN-2008-06-15
from MusicandEntertainment - recent posts - blip.tv (beta) June 19, 2008
One festival goer was unable to wake up early on the last full day of the festival while, at about the same time, quite a few festival goers, living hundreds of miles or kilometres away and had to be at work on Monday, pack up to get ready to forfeit attendance at the likes of Against Me!, Robert Plant, and Widespred Panic still to come later that day. Those who insisted on staying for Robert Plant Sunday night and wanted to leave immediately afterwards were punished by long lines of traffic standstill in all lanes and alleys that seemed to last till eternity. But those who persisted and lingered for one more tranquil night to wrap up their thoughts on the gathering with their newfound friends were rewared the following morning, Monday morning, with one long lonely stretch of road from the gate of the festival ground to the main Interstate freway, a road that had been so clogged, as seen in the Bonnaroo arrival video, only four days earlier ....

Bonnaroo 2008 Festival-goers on Day 2-Manchester TN-2008-06-13
from recent posts - blip.tv (beta) June 17, 2008
Day 2 at Bonnaroo dawns on festival-going campers with the rude discovery that, unlike at Coachella, Bonnaroo's showers are not free for all. For those who find the $7 shower price on the steep side, water-trough stations (as seen at the very beginning of this video) become the only substitute for getting rid of the now-congealed sweat from the heat the day before. Unlike the no-reentry policy at Coachellla that forces one to stay in the concert area all day and feed on the high-priced food and beverages within, the policy of Bonnaroo to permit reentries does enable one to return to one's camp site to eat and drink food brought in from the outside. Thus the entrance to the concert-area named "Centeroo" is a round-the-clock multi-laned security operation (as seen in the middle of this video). If you are seriously curious in trying to deduce the differences between Bonnaroo and other festivals by observing and comparing differences in the physical characteristics of the festival-goers at Bonnaroo and those at other festivals, this may just be the video for you ....On the other hand, if you are one of the many fun-seekers there for this weekend, then I do hope that you actually see yourself appearing somewhere on this or some other footage that I have uploaded for you to use as keepsake .... :)
