The teams took their modified Chevy Equinoxes for a ride from New York City to Washington D.C. and GMnext rode shotgun to learn more about the cars and their environmentally-friendly enhancements. The engine rpm and the vehicle speed are the actual data taken during this lap. The elapsed time was measured electronically and confirmed with two hand-held stopwatches. The video is continuous and unedited. Watch and listen as the ZR1 tackles the twists and turns of "the Ring" and sets one of the fastest times ever clocked for a production car.
