from Tranny Talk 101 on November 17, 2009
Duration: 1553
We are so excited to debut our new season of Tranny Talk 101! Our new season takes place in Houston, Texas, so with a southern city we have a southern co-host! In our first episode of the season we introduce you to our new resident diva Blanche Babcock. She is the internet makeup guru, and Tranny Talk 101 has swept her up. Also, we talk about someone we love, the new leader for The Gays Lady Gaga and her new video for her single from her upcoming album The Fame Monster. How do we review her video? Who s album comes out the same day as Gaga? Project Runway and Top Model season finales this week, so watch as we dish the dirt about our favorite tv shows. From music, tv shows and to pageant talk we dish it all out! This episode is going to give you the best in entertainment and news! We discuss how the Mormons are backing the gays, a playwright creates a play where Jesus is transgendered, Obama passes harsher laws for hate crimes against the GLBTQ community, and does Seventeen Magazine have sympathy for the transgendered community? Well find out all this in this week s episode of Tranny Talk 101. Our featured song of the week is The Cage by Meghan Chavalier from her album Just Dance.

Born Again Part I

Born Again Part I

from Lindsay Stone on September 16, 2008
Duration: 1974
Born in central Pennsylvania, Markie Hancock was indoctrinated as a child to be a born-again Evangelical Christian. Although a fervent believer into her early twenties, Hancock began to experience some dissonance and doubt. BORN AGAIN chronicles Markie Hancock's slow and painful break with her faith and her family as she experiences sexual discovery and explores the larger world. Upon returning home from several years in Berlin she recognizes that the split with her family is irreconcilable unless she returns to the faith and no longer lives her life as a lesbian. Through this personal exploration we see a divided family, a divided nation, and a divided self who, despite the odds, emerges whole.
