They are fully shielded for electrically noisy environments and are universally designed for serial or parallel applications. Gender changers Dual-purpose slimline gender changers allow mismatched D-Subminiature connectors to mate and are also panel mountable to pass cables through a bulkhead. You may also want to view our helpful video tip on hardware requirements when panel mounting adapters. Gender changers are available in all standard D-Subminiature connector sizes with male to male or female to female genders. Socket Savers Slimline socket savers extend the life of frequently mated D-Subminature connectors used on expensive cables and ports. Socket savers are available in all standard D-Subminature connector sizes with male to female genders. Null Modem and Reversers Convert your existing straight wired cables to null modem or reverser (transmit & receive) cables with these handy, inexpensive slimline adapters. Simply plug these adapters onto the end of a cable and you're done! 1959 Discussion Film on Racism, Prejudice & Discrimination
from Revver - video Videos July 16, 2008
Author: QIP1 Added: Wed, 16 Jul 2008 15:39:43 -0800 Duration: 52Filmed in Lawrence, Kansas, using local actors, What about Prejudice is another in Centron Corporations "Discussion Problems in Group Living" series which presented difficult social questions for audience discussion. More artful than your average "after school special" educational video, the main character Bruce Jones is never shown from the waist up in order to keep his race a mystery to the viewer. This allows Bruce to represent all minorities in the United States who suffered from racial, religious, or any other kind of prejudice. As the film follows Bruce throughout his day, it captures what the majority group of kids - a bunch of well-dressed WASPS - think about him. He is suspected of doing everything from causing fights to stealing sweaters (today minorities are still frequently wrongfully accused of a crime), and the kids say things like, I don't know why they let people like him go to our school anyway," and, Hes not like us and he never will be. At the prom, however, ...

Gender Equality as Smart Economics
from YouTube :: Tag // modest July 07, 2008
In recent years there have been significant gains in women's health and education, but gains in women's economic opportunities have been modest at best. This is not only unfair, but also inefficient, since increased women's labor force participation and earnings are associated with reduced poverty and faster growth. Women stand to benefit from their economic empowerment, but so do men, children and society as a whole. In sum, in addition to its intrinsic development value, there is a strong business case for expanding women's economic opportunities: it is smart economics. Renewing attention to women's economic empowerment and increasing investments in women are ways to promote economic development and reduce poverty.
