Jackson's album sales increased following the announcement. In preparation for the concerts, the pop singer had been collaborating with numerous high profile figures, such as Christian Audigier, Kenny Ortega and Lou Ferrigno. Prior to Jackson's death, Allgood Entertainment had planned to sue the musician for $40 million, claiming he had breached a contract with them. AEG Live has offered either full refunds to all ticket holders or a souvenir ticket designed by Jackson. According to the court documents regarding Michael Jackson's estate, Columbia Pictures has acquired the footage of the rehearsal to make a movie. The Jackson estate will get 90% of the profits made while AEG Live gets the remaining 10%. Columbia Pictures has guaranteed at least $60 million for the rights.[1] On August 10, an L.A. judge ruled that production of the feature concert-film could commence.
