Are You A Citizen (Or Are You A Slave) is an anthem salute to struggle that is done in strident Cajun waltz style. The song challenges citizen apathy and cynicism. It confronts the notion that we cannot change anything by citing the historical record of struggle that says otherwise. Colonialism, slavery, and debtor prisons have been defeated, and a Bill of Rights, the right to organize unions, civil rights, and voting rights were all won through struggle. As Thomas Paine once said, "Rights are not gifts from one man to another, nor from one class of men to another." Rights are inalienable and not granted by the political powers that be. 6-20-2008 Weekly Rock Update Show. w/ your host: Aero Broken and co-host Tannrr. -THE AERO BROKEN NETWORK- This week is "MOSH PITS, BLOOD AND MADNESS". This weeks show once again is our best so far. Aero shares his Aero Certified Bands and gives us updates on 4 bands this week, and other News w/ even a triple bash. Also we have added a Headline band group to the shows format along with the already Showcase, Shout Out and Closer Bands. We had a great time and some awesome laughs, Aero is feeling better after his bout w/ a serious sinus infection. CORRECTION: On the Showcase band - Spoil Engine, It was stated as being a six member band and they are actually a 5 member band.
