Daniel Johnston and Blitzen Trapper in Road Trippin' With Ice Cream Man

The summer tour wraps up at our last major festival of the year, Austin City Limits where we got a little sentimental and invited way more musicians to play than we could possibly air (if thereâs any bands reading this⦠sorry, it only happened once). The downside of having so many artists play in or around the truck is that there wasnât much time left to get out and see the bands that were playing. The upside was that we had a great parking space, a hundred yards or so from the Dell stage which had tons of great bands on it (Bon Iver, Felice Brothers, Andrew Bird, Dr. Dog, Grizzly Bear, Blitzen Trapper, Dirty Projectors and more) and we could listen to their sets while slinging. Daniel Johnston is the first of two legends who graced us with a rare acoustic performance of True love will find you in the endâ. Blitzen Trapper and The Henry Clay People did not disappoint, but what ever you do â donât miss the up coming grand finale in the series...Rodriquez, Here We Go Magic, Suckers and a little ICM cathartic soul cleansing :) for more go to www.babelgum.com/icecreamman Ranked 3.60 / 5 | 0 views | 0 comments Click here to watch the video (07:43) Submitted By: Babelgum Tags: Babelgum Music Kids War Fruit Music White Jay Brothers Girls Guide Athens Man Jack 10 American West Rabbits Pop Festival Country Alternative York Nashville Lands City Bats Indie Punk Garage Times Brooklyn Folk Matt Pool Avi Parties Boogie Kim Th Categories: Music & Dance

First off, to get the free mp3 do either of these things: 1. If you have twitter, follow http://twitter.com/STRecords and tweet this (you can paraphrase!)... Check out Blue Skies' new White Stripes cover - http://bit.ly/2dqe2L Follow @STRecords and RT this to get the free mp3! Click here go to your twitter... http://bit.ly/2gzT2J (remember to follow or I can't send the DM!) 2. Become a fan of STR on facebook: http://facebook.com/scratchthatrecords then hit the 'suggest to friends' button on the left and send it to at least 10 people. Then leave me a comment on the page saying you've done it. Once you've done one of these things, I'll send you a link where you can download the song. =) I also mentioned Jonny Dark's new series, you may as well just go and see what it is for yourself to save me explaining! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v58Kytk17QY And don't forget to comment your 80's song suggestions! Dave. x p.s. Happy Bonfire Night!
