That began a lifelong love and appreciation of music from a variety of genres. "My first guitar was a true learning instrument", he recalls. "The action was about a half an inch off the neck and I didn't really know how to tune it correctly so I just tuned it to what sounded good to me." Kevin also played drums for several years but he was drawn into a fascination with the acoustic pop/country/rock artists of the 60's and 70's.
