In this tutorial we will use Flash to create the oh-so popular growing vines animation look. We will do it in two different ways; first, we will do a quick masked shape and shape tween under the mask after that we will do it the right way and build a frame-by-frame animation that makes this little flourish look like it is really growing. This is the first time I did a flourish video with someone and it's actually quite fun... The guy who did the Jackson 5 and was in most parts of the video was my schoolmate. He has a Dan and Dave style (he's crazy over DnD, but he's not gay), though somehow, it seems as if he has an Ambrose style. Actually I did alot of Ambrose material... The video isn't very well edited, I rushed it up so I can upload it in the same day I filmed it, but I still hope you guys will enjoy the video. I forgotten to credit 2 people, they were Bone Ho and Joey Burton, so credits to Bone Ho for his move called Angel and credits to Joey Burton for his Skater Cut. For the past several months David Blaine and his production team have been carefully crafting the next generation of his Split Spades deck - The Lions. The deck features a level of intricacy never before seen in playing card design, and David himself experimented with the feel and finish until he was 101% satisfied. The Split Spades design is iconic - there is an elegance and a level of intricacy among each element of the core design. The Ace of Spades design (and the box design) are all new, featuring two-way images and hidden text. These features and other revolutionary design components unite to form a deck that is unlike any other. Not only are these the best looking edition of the Split Spades, they are the best feeling ones as well. The entire DB production crew as well as theory11 put these decks through extensive trials over the past week. Dan and Dave, Jonathan Bayme, Dan White, Daniel Garcia, and David Blaine himself all came to the same conclusion: these feel amazing. The finish and card stock is unique and completely new to the Split Spades. Not too thick, not too thin. The focus was to produce a deck that handled well and - just as importantly - lasted. And after brutal use from the streets of New York to the deserts of Las Vegas, every single one of us was blown away by the look, feel, and finish of the second generation decks.
