Sadly, we are no longer on a boat this episode.  We still HAVE the boat, but it’s a little chilly this week.  However, we do have a lot of talk about the games for you to enjoy!  Pull up a buoy and listen up as we chat about the release date we’ve all been waiting for (or maybe it’s just me…), special editions we approve of, and more reasons why Atlus is the most awesomest company ever.  Also, be prepared for a few awkward pauses…. It’s finally here! The audio from the Youmacon 2009 Final Fantasy XI Podcast Panel is now available for your listening pleasure! Listen in as Fusionx and Aniero discuss the history of Pet Food Alpha and Limit Break Radio. They also talk about their future collaborative effort with Eorzeapedia for the Final Fantasy XIV podcast: Aetheryte Radio. We also got the chance to sit down with Robert Peeler and the newest member of the FFXI Community Team, Devin Casadey. We help introduce Devin to the community and get the chance to throw a few questions their way.

Over the past few months, us and the rest of the gaming world have been complaining about the huge amount of games getting pushed back, possibly the biggest name in the group that has been evading a release date is Final Fantasy XIII. Square Enix has been pretty quiet on committing to a date up until now, as the developer has finally confirmed a March 9th global release. Although I could complain about waiting for so long, I am sure it will be worth it. The Final Fantasy series is no slouch when it comes to just about everything. As is the case with most games from Japanese, Final Fantasy XIII will be released in its home country first in December, and the rest of the world can get their copy in March. Usually Final Fantasy titles have a delay between releases for each region, for language and localization reasons. Square Enix has also added a trailer on the FFXIII hompage here detailing the legacy of the series and looking forward to the newest iteration.
