Remember last week, when I expressed a belief that you were all doing much better? Well, this week, not so much. I've learned a valuable lesson: Don't count your chickens while the maniacs are throwing eggs at each other. Or, as a friend put it earlier in the week, "if some of them learned how to read it wouldn't be such a problem." I agree with this sentiment, and would add a request that those of you who cannot refrain from being boringly vicious at least be more funny. Oh well, on to the death and circuses. Executed: Public Relations Crime: This is like a Bill O'Reilly monologue as performed by a drunken Pollyanna. But worse. Executed:DushkuFan3000 Crime: If only you could have torn yourself away from Dollhouse promo interviews long enough to email Richard, you might have been saved. Executed: Dfkdave Crime: Dfkdave is a whiny whiny dorkface. That is the proper spelling of dorkface. Happy? Executed: Johnny_boy Crime: Sigh. Also sigh. Executed: JamieDemon Crime: Richard killed Jamie earlier this week, but I'd just like to request that any would be NTJ-impersonators simply not bother. If anyone is just actually like this then you're sort of just basically screwed when it comes to Gawker commenting, everyone will assume you are playing a part. Sorry. Here's American Idol Season 3 winner Fantasia Barrino performing her new song "Bore Me" on the show last night. We love Fantasia and think she tore it up on stage. She really sang her heart out. We're just wondering about her new shocking red hair color. Check out Simon Cowell's face at around the 2:45 mark he looks like he's stunned that Fantasia blew everybody away.

Mr. Hobbs Takes A Vacation (1962) Starring Jimmy Stewart and Maureen O'Hara OMG! It's our first ever enhanced podcast! So, umm, if you have problems viewing it, I most likely did something wrong. If too many people are having problems watching it in iTunes or at the Podomatic site I'll go ahead and upload an unenhanced version. Yeah, so with nothing on pay-per-view and nothing on our DishTv super mega movie package Dave and I were racking our brains trying to figure out what movie we should review. The boob tube gods must have been paying attention because with a quick trip to the mailbox our problems were over! Fellow podcaster and all around great guy JR Claiborn had sent us something from his personal collection! Mr. Hobbs Takes A Vacation is a fun little low budget movie that just happens to have two HUGE superstar type actors in it. Well, two huge actors and Fabian, which is kind of a bonus, isn't it? Anyhoo we also discuss The Fantasia Barrino Story: Life Is Not A Fairy Tale which to be honest is surprisingly watchable! It's currently airing on the Lifetime channel, and if you are a fan of American Idol I would recommend giving it a shot. Fantasia actually plays herself in this movie and does a damn good job. Hats off to you young lady! We talk about other stuff like MTV, Who Wants To Be a Superhero, Flavor of Love and Darryl Jones as well as read an email from our Aussie friend CW.
