Zimmerman / Agnetha F ltskog) br / br / The album featured only two compositions by Agnetha F ltskog herself, Zigernerv n , was maybe the most well known track that caused some controversial discussions. br / br / Most of the songs were written by Agnetha's boyfriend Dieter Zimmermann who also wanted Agnetha to record some songs in German to gain fans in German speaking countries. Agnetha was never successful there but still some songs were re-recorded in Swedish and included on this album like Se or Gonzales or Wie der Wind (Som en vind kom du till mej).

But at the same charity event, Agnetha met Peter Cetera. Agnetha was a fan of Peter and he was a fan of ABBA. So after the show they had dinner and that's when they began talking about Peter maybe producing an album for Agnetha. br / br / In 1987, Cetera produced Swedish former ABBA member Agnetha F ltskog's third English-language album, I Stand Alone, in Los Angeles. He co-wrote the title track (with Bruce Gaitsch) and sang a duet on I Wasn't the One (Who Said Goodbye). br / br / The song peaked at No. 93 on Billboard Hot 100 and became a No. 19 hit on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.

I Stand Alone was the third and last of Agnetha F ltskog's 1980s post-ABBA solo albums, released in November 1987. F ltskog would not have another major studio release for 17 years, until her successful comeback in 2004 with My Colouring Book. It was written by Peter Cetera and Bruce Gaitsch. br / br / I Stand Alone was produced by Peter Cetera, the former singer and bass guitar player with American rock band Chicago. In 1976 Sweden's contribution for the MIDEM Fair in Cannes was a programme called "Made In Sweden For Export", in which ABBA took part with 3 songs (Mamma Mia, So Long and I Do I Do I Do I Do I Do). The programme was recorded in 1975 and also shown in Sweden that year. Here's "So Long" from the programme. Unfortunately there's a small drop-out in the end of the clip. For some reason this YouTube clip is very poor. I have uploaded several different video formats, but the result was always the same as this clip. I know there will be complaints about this being in Danish and Swedish and no subtitles, but I have too much going on in my life to find the time to translate this clip - sorry. Then it was told by the Danish/Swedish costume designer, that fabric and clothes were found all around the world in small shops and second-hand-stores. For example the material for Kristina's costume was found in a small shop in New York's old immigrant district The Lower Eastside. The cheapest fabric they bought was for the Jesus costume, which only cost 1 dollar per yard. Tickets for the Malmö performance of Kristina could also be ordered in Denmark by a Danish ticket agency, the TV-news host said.
