I've received numerous questions on how to make the "Obama Icon" as featured on PasteMagazine.com. It's a pretty easy application if you know what levers to pull and button to push. My friend Vicki was unable to save her icon so I made this video to help take her the through steps. Get your own icon at http://obamaiconme.com

This week we're wondering who our new enemy should be! And somewhat ironically, we are also looking at ways that social media can unite people. Howard Stern thinks blogging is for losers, Ze Frank is trying to bring together red states and blue states, and the FU of the Week is delivered by a filmmaker using the web to bring people together to crowd-fund her new movie.

Mr. Brainwash- Life is Beautiful- Street Artist in Los Angeles

Mr. Brainwash, or MBW, is the moniker of an eccentric French filmmaker. MBW has spent the last nine years attempting to make the ultimate documentary about graffiti art. But whilst filming many of the world s most renowned street artists at work, MBW began putting his camera aside and making art of his own. He has graduated from a few hand-drawn stickers to giant billboard sized paste-ups. MBW does not fit the stereotype of your average street vandal. His artistic process chiefly consists of throwing random modern cultural icons into a blender and turning it up to eleven. The results are by turns profound, provocative and inspirational. Life is beautiful is the first exhibition ever mounted by Mr. Brainwash. It took place in a former Hollywood studio complex and featured over 200 paintings, sculptures and prints alongside an installation made from 25,000 books and a life-size re-creation of Edward Hopper s Nighthawks. Shepard Fairey discusses the bombing of his Dumbo grafiti art show three days after the fact with Baird Jones. They are at Shepard's follow up E Pluribus Venom show at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery on June 26, 2007. Jonathan Levine, in a white jacket, intervened from behind briefly, looking concerned about where the interview might be going. The bomber's supporters handed out anarchist (actually situationist) leaflets. Seven off duty members of the NYPD can be seen guarding the show and party bus, dressed in thier finest Chrisian Lacroix and Hermes ties. Nymph like gallery girls looked on intently. The opening was covered extensively in the press: covered extensively in the press: Jonathan Levine Gallery - Press
