Louise Skelton starts Sam's jumping career (TRAILER)

Louise Skelton starts Sam's jumping career (TRAILER)

from Dailymotion - College on November 13, 2009
Duration: 28
Four star event rider Louise Skelton gives three year old baby Sam, his third jumping lesson. Given his huge size (18 hands) Sam is remarkably together, which is just as well as Louise is tiny! Starting with trotting poles, Louise moves on to a crosspole. Sam is obliging but doesn't make much effort. Only when faced with a small upright does he break out of a trot to jump! Encouraged by this, Louise introduces him to his first double, where where he shows some talent for a future in eventing! Louise explains the importance of a progressive approach to allow time to absorb the learning and says keep sessions short as youngsters tire easily.Author: HorseHero Tags: horse equestrian videos eventing Badminton Horse Trials Louise Skelton Posted: 13 November 2009 Rating: 0.0 Votes: 0

Defy the odds; 1000 SUBSCRIBERS!

I'm so sorry it took so long to upload!! My computer was having issues and I couldn't make any videos for 3 weeks. It's a bad video. I'm sorry. I made it in two days. And yes, it's supposed to be dark :) It's about what people have said to me when I was buying Ted. Although it is good advise, I just really felt that Teddy was the one for me. So I went against them all and bought him anyway. I really believe when it comes to the final decision, you have to go with your heart rather then your head when you're buying a horse. If the horse feels perfect to you and you really feel like it's the right one, who cares about pure breeding and fancy show names? It's just my opinion, but it's always worked for me ;) -And I have nothing against pure bred show horses, I just think crossbred horses should be equal to them.

EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW OF THE 2009 EUROPEAN EVENTING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Europe's top riders provide a rare sneak preview before they descend on the prestigious equestrian venue in historic Fontainebleau, France for the 2009 HSBC FEI European Eventing Championship. Reigning individual gold medallist Nicholas Touzaint from France and the event's most successful medallist William Fox-Pitt of Great Britain will be among riders from 18-countries that are taking part in the four-day dressage, cross-country and jumping event. Held biennially since 1953, the European Championship has been dominated by Great Britain with the nation winning 20-team and 17-individual gold medals. Despite this dominance, reigning Olympic and World Champions from Germany are seen as strong favourites despite not winning a team gold in this competition for 40-years. The event at the new cross-country Fontainebleau course designed by French master Pierre Michelet will mark the third time the country has hosted the European Championships. To follow the riders progress, please visit: http://www.fei.org/DISCIPLINES/EVENTING/Pages/HSBCFEIClassics.aspx Distributed by Tubemogul.

How I met my horse, Teddy.

How I met my horse, Teddy.

For another competition :) Some of the writing goes by pretty quickly, you might want to pause it to read it. Pretty much all of you didn't know Teddy's name when he was a foal was Tooheys. I changed it because I felt it wasn't such a respectable name, it's a brand of beer. Yes every thing's real :) All of the photos are in the real time frames, AKA all of the photos before I bought him were actually taken before I bought him. That conversation actually happened. Those are real photos of his parents. The first 2 photos of Teddy as a foal were taken the night he was born by his breeders, and the photos of me and Teddy when we were young were taken the following day. And the photo of the paddock is the actual paddock he was born in. So there you gooo :) Thought it would be a good opportunity to show everyone a bit of his back ground lol. I'll try to answer all questions in this video....
