Greek term euangelion, usually translated "gospel", doesn't just refer to salvation message, but is one of many Bible synonyms to say Direct Divine Communication which came to be in writing, aka Bible. Those who claim that the Bible is not the Word of God do not knoiw how to read it. For each person given euangelion must tell you that somewhere in the text. It's clear from the OT, but some think not so clear from the NT. Here you'l see one of the ways Bible itself tells you the person writing got the information directly from God. And thus, only the original words of that person, are inspired. Canon closed in 96AD, but that's another topic to cover later. NO STUPID COUNCIL DETERMINED WHAT CAME FROM GOD. Only God does this, and He tells you, verse by verse, book by book.
