Etsy has had quite a growth spurt in the past year, and we have the awkward pictures to prove it. We've been posting a series of About Us pieces to help you get to know the Etsy admin (and since many of us work remotely, for the admin to get to know each other!). You've seen the admin badge, and maybe you're a bit curious about the person behind it! We made this electronic press kit (EPK as they say in tha biz) recently at the Etsy Labs in Brooklyn. It gives press people (and anybody else really!) a sense of what we do at Etsy and what our mission is.Several sellers are featured in it, including KateBlack, DewonaPetal, and 1aeon. It was a lot of fun to make, thanks to Chopwood.com, the production company we worked with.

marsha(the voice you hear) and I were on the upper east side for work, and this crazy old man sipping red bull started dancing for us and making weird animal noises. he proceeded to tell people on the street that I was his girlfriend, so I figured I could take some video in return for being a good sport. shortly after another guy came by fiercely fighting an invisible adversary. why are there so many crazies on the upper east side?
