Quick Time Me and my (almost) 8 year old son tried the loopingstar at Attractiepark Slagharen. For both of us it was the first time to do a looping. In the end I think the looping itself is more spectacular for the viewer than the participant. The corners of the track, made at high speed, had the most impact on us. Looping being a mentally kick, cornering a physical one. To celebrate our loosing our virginity I bought the video they made. Looking back. My big & bold son does looks small and vulnerable. Should hug the guy even more. Brave.

When at Macdocman's house for a lovely vlog dinner, we watched an educational episode of Madge Weinstein's "Lesbian Sex Tips for Gays" on Insane Films.

All the crappy footage I shot that night, including the bit where we watch Madge.

Quicktime I signed up for semanal08. After a forced sabbatical of 5 months I trying to get back on the horse. Hope I will succeed. Today, did three washes, bathed the boys, myself, gave the beds new covers, folded laundry, did the dishes, backed a cake with the boys (see it on twitter, flickr and mobypicture) and posted a video and it s only 13:30h. Maybe I will pull it of: one video a week.

Quicktime This is my first Lumiere. Somewhat after the hype but the moment didn t present itself any sooner. I ve seen about 30 or so Lumieres and I got the feeling that people take the best minute (or less) out of many. So I intended to make a statement and be even more true to the Lumiere and would really show the moment I hit the record button to the moment it reached the one minute. Film was expensive those days. But like anyone else I would record more and make a directors cut and let people decide which one would be the best, expecting that would be the directors cut. But when I looked at the footage I had to conclude the first minute is it. So I m happy to be true to Lumiere and at the same time deliver the dc. Quicktime Have had this piece of film on my computer for some time now. Couldn t resist. I know Frank from way back on the AKI, the Enschede Academy of Visual Arts (1991-1997). In the second year he got caught by the super8 bug and it never left him again. Today he has his own company developing and digitizing super 8 / 16 and all kinds of special celluloid for clients all over Europe. On my two super 8 film I wanted digitized there was some seconds left and he couldn t resist, and I thank him for that. Love this spontaneous action in his kitchen to get enough light. Where, on a rare occasion, I m in front of the eye nostalgia
