EPHEMERAL Dizzy Banjo - and Poid Mahovlich This is a short machinima film I made on the Princeton Aspire region of Princeton University's presence in Second Life. I wrote the 'story' with Poid Mahovlich who created all of the scenes you see in the film and the wonderfully creepy atmosphere, as well as playing the "Clown Freak". The film features the work of many great Second Life creators including Kriss Lehmann, Damanios Thetan, Gregg Barrymore, Twistit Saiman, Carrie Tatsu, Kaeli Candour, Allegory Malaprop, Kim Lefavre and Tooter Claxton. It aslo features Talia Tokugawa as a fawn ! I was initially asked to write a small piece of music for the sim installation itself, which Poid installed some 6 months ago. The sound design Poid achieved in the sim is very rich and textured, so combined with the great visuals it seemed like a good location for a little story. It also serves as a way to document the project in a nice way. Avant de faire une quelconque remarque sur l'utilité de cette amv, je m'excuse pour la qualité qui est, malgré ma volonté, très mauvaise =). • ● ● ● • Ephemeral Love (Le titre signifiant 'Amour Ephémère' pour les incultes de l'anglais). Temps de réalisation : Un mois.. Deux mois.. Longtemps quoi. Histoire du clip : Akari, jeune fille aux longs cheveux châtain, tombe amoureuse d'Takaki, un jeune homme qui ne résiste pas longtemps à son charme. mais au fil du temps, Takaki prend douloureusement conscience que sa petite copine n'est pas si attaché à lui. Il décide, après réfléxion, de lui parler par téléphone, conversation qui se termine par la rupture entre les deux amoureux. Ensuite, c'est la lente remontée de Takaki, qui tente de tout faire pour oublier la jeune fille - pendant qu'elle ne cesse de se chercher elle-même. Deux ans plus tard, ils se croisent au lieux de leur rencontre mais aucun des deux n'osent faire signe à l'autre. Ils ne se revirent plus jamais..
