Citoyens du Monde » est un projet mis en œuvre par Amnesty International Belgique Francophone en faveur des défenseurs des droits humains, de septembre 2006 à décembre 2008. Pendant plus de deux ans, des jeunes activistes de Belgique ont noué des liens avec des défenseurs des droits humains de par le monde et développés des projets créatifs visant à les soutenir. Les cinq groupes lauréats ont rencontré leurs partenaires sur le terrain et réalisé des documentaires sur leurs activités. Ceux-ci seront diffusés sur la télévision belge dans le cadre des célébrations du 60ième anniversaire de la Déclarations Universelle des Droits de l’Homme et du 10ième anniversaire de la Déclaration des Nations Unies pour les Défenseurs des Droits de l’Homme. Nous tenons à féliciter et à remercier tous les participants au projet. Ils ont su mobiliser toutes leurs ressources et motivations pour soutenir leurs défenseurs partenaires, démontrant par là même qu’il est toujours possible de s’engager en faveur d’un monde plus juste et plus respectueux des droits humains. Ils sont eux-mêmes devenus des défenseurs, des « Citoyens du Monde » à part entière. Cette vidéo retrace leur parcours...
