Emmett's Jeep Wrangler Ad is finally here. It took so long because I have been tossing and turning with the colour. As you may know, in the novels Emmett's jeep is actually a dark red. However, in the film, they made his Jeep Silver. So, after many weeks of jumping back and forth and yelling at the computer that there was no good footage, the vid is finally here. I went with Silver, because I made Edward's Volvo a C30, so I thought it best to stick with the film adaptions. I have also decided that when the film comes out i will re-make all of the ads again, with better footage, until then, Im sorry. It is becoming extremely hard to find the right car in the right colour, in a good quality video. At first I don't particularly like the character, given that she hates Bella so much; but when I heard her story I changed my mind and I started to like her very much. This is my tribute to her. The story: Rosalie Lillian Hale lived in Rochester, in 1933. She was born beautiful and constantly praised, making her vain and, like her parents, wanting more out of life. One day, Royce King the Second fell in love with her and they became engaged, but then Rosalie understood that she didn't love Royce. When walking home, Rosalie stumbled across her drunken fiancé and his also drunken pals; Royce bragged about his fiancée's beauty, which eventually led to Rosalie being beaten and presumably raped. Rosalie was found by Carlisle, because the scent of blood had attracted Carlisle to the dying Rosalie. He carried her to a room where he made the eighteen-year-old a vampire, worsening the pain she was already in. Rosalie soon avenged herself by killing all those who were with Royce that night. Having saved Royce for last, Rosalie entered the room and tortured Royce to death. In 1935 Rosalie found Emmett after he had been mauled by a bear, and carried him to Carlisle who then changed Emmett. She and Emmett got married soon after. This is a dirty trick by the Hillary Clinton campaign," referring to the fact that Kerr is a member of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Americans for Hillary Clinton steering committee and a co-chairman of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton s (D-NY) Veterans and Military Retirees for Hillary Committee. Co-host Steve Doocy then asked Morris, "How do you figure?" Morris replied: "Well, come on. The head of your veterans steering committee asks a question about gay rights on the Republican debate and you don t think the campaign knows about it? Oh, for goodness sakes, of course they know about it. ... And this campaign has already twice planted questions at town meetings. This ... goes back to the 1972 Richard Nixon dirty tricks." Morris went on to claim that the Clinton campaign was responsible for a November 28 Politico article, which reported that "[a]s New York mayor, Rudy Giuliani billed obscure city agencies for tens of thousands of dollars in security expenses amassed during the time when he was beginning an extramarital relationship with future wife Judith Nathan." Morris said the story "undoubtedly, at least in my view, was a setup by Hillary." And during his appearance on Fox s Tactics: Is Campaign Playing Dirty?" Earlier, on the November 30 edition of Fox News Fox s ties to the Clinton campaign with American Spectator founder and editor-in-chief R. Emmett Tyrrell Jr., author of The Clinton Crack-Up: The Boy President s Life After the White House (Thomas Nelson, March 2007). It appears that not only are all the reporters on CNN Democrats, but all of the questioners at the Republican debate sponsored by CNN are Democrats. DOOCY: Uh-huh. Interestingly enough, we re showing video of the gay general who asked the question about "don t ask, don t tell," which apparently is CNN s policy when booking guests. From the November 30 edition of Fox News Fox re going to do something that CNN did not do the other night and that is, disclosure here: You ve written a number of books that are very much against -- anti-Clinton -- and perhaps some folks close to the Clintons might even say, you re an enemy of the Clintons. But, having said that, we know where you re coming from. What do you think about that question from General Carr [sic], the homosexual retired Army general, as a Clinton supporter, there asking a question but no disclosure from CNN about where he was coming from. TYRRELL: Well, his question was about the gay policy -- the policy of "don t ask, and don t tell," and there you have CNN following the policy. They didn t ask and they didn t tell. DOOCY: You are absolutely right. And of course, if -- you know, Emmett, if Fox did this, where they were hosting a -- we were hosting a debate and somebody filtered through and had a political agenda, it would be on Page 1 of The New York Times every day for the next month. And I m looking at the front page of The New York Times today; I don t see anything about it. What s up with that? TYRRELL: Well, you know, when finishing -- having finished The Clinton Crack-Up, I discovered one thing in the research of that book that I didn t expect, and that was that every single scandal the Clintons got into during the 90s and have gotten into during this election had its precursor in Arkansas. They ve been fooling around with elections, fooling around with campaign finance for years. And this is nothing new. They are very political people. DOOCY: So, are you saying that the Clintons had something to do with CNN doing a bad job vetting these questioners? TYRRELL: Well, I think so. I mean, I wouldn t -- first of all, CNN is responsible for it and their behavior is reprehensible. But secondly, I mean, this Clinton supporter didn t get out there because they just -- she -- he just happened to wander into the room. How did -- who paid for him to get there by the way? DOOCY: CNN. TYRRELL: Has anyone asked that question? KELLY: CNN paid. DOOCY: CNN. KELLY: Yeah, but again you don t have any proof that the Clinton campaign -- the Clinton campaign denies that they actually planted this question. And then I guess the same question would have to be asked of the Obama campaign and the Edwards campaign who also had supporters there asking questions. TYRRELL: Well, look, my proof is this. There is a pattern here. The Clintons have been political animals from day one and they have played fast and loose with ethics since day one. This is a pattern. That s pretty good proof. As Media Matters noted, while Limbaugh apologized "to all of the members of the United States military, both in uniform and out, active duty and retired, for Media Matters for America," he has not apologized for characterizing service members who advocate U.S. withdrawal from Iraq as "phony soldiers." Democrats are comparing the incident to MoveOn.org s "General Betray Us" ad. Is this a smear campaign against the controversial talk-show host? CARLSON: Emmett Tyrrell is author of The Clinton Crack-Up, and he joins us today from D.C. Good morning to you. TYRRELL: Nice to be with you, Gretchen. CARLSON: So, what do you make of this whole situation? It s been going on now for a couple of weeks, and it seems to be orchestrated. TYRRELL: Well, on one side, it s absurd. It s absurd to compare a carefully written ad by MoveOn that claims -- accuses a general in the field of treason -- to compare that with a flip remark by Rush Limbaugh during a three-hour discourse, which he s already apologized for in the event that he offended anyone. What s really alarming about it is that it shows a pattern here of the new Democratic Party threatening the free speech of those who disagree with them. They had better get used to it. In a democracy, you have disagreement. And we have a First Amendment. And that First Amendment is inviolate. DOOCY: Well, I tell you what, this week it s Rush, last week it was Bill O Reilly. Both of them say they were taken out of context. And three weeks ago, it was General [David] Petraeus. TYRRELL: Well, at least it indicates, for a change, some of these new Democrats are actually listening to people that disagree with them. The problem is they re offended by it. They ought to join them in rational discourse, rather than trying to run them out of town. CARLSON: You know what s interesting, though, Emmett, is that -- do you find it interesting, I should ask -- that no Republican has crossed over the line to condemn Rush s comments, that I ve seen, but there were some Democrats who did cross over the line to condemn MoveOn.org s ad against General Petraeus. TYRRELL: Well, because they recognize that this is an entirely different matter. This is -- I can t think of any time in American history that Americans -- Americans claim -- accused a general in the field of treason, except perhaps the Civil War, when the North and the South thought all of the generals -- the others -- opposite side of the general was guilty of treason.
