In December of 2006, a great storm raged throughout the Pacific Northwest, felling trees and destroying power lines all across the land. Power was lost to many of Kitsap County's inhabitants, including the beloved-by-the-masses Kitsap Mall, which retained power on its eastern side, but lost power on the west, leaving one half of the mall in perpetual darkness. Thousands of mall employees suddenly found themselves without jobs, and began a rich oral tradition of stories, poems, and songs focusing on the sudden hardship. This is one of those songs...
