At the beginning of November the Scuba Diver Girls decided to head to Florida to do some diving. Tropical Storm Ida rearranged those plans on the SDGs. Scuba Diver Girl Stephanie headed off to Key West to see if there was diving going on before Ida got too close and perked up. She found Captain's Corner Charters (great crew, boat, and prices) down there heading out to the Vandenberg Wreck (artificial reef). The water was a bit choppy, the current very strong, and visibility was only about 80-90 feet (only!). The Vandenberg is such a large ship that even with two dives she saw only about 1/3 of the wreck. Worth the trip!

This video is from the Underwater Instruction Certification Course in LA County. APS Manta Ray Fins were brought to one of the courses and the potential instructors were given the chance to test these fins out. They tested their fins and the Manta Ray Fins against a load test machine. This video includes testimonials from students in the course about these fins.
