The results of this year's Malt Maniacs Whisky Awards have been released, and with just 9 gold medal winners, represent the best of the best. The Distillery District is located in downtown Toronto, Ontario. It was built in 1832 as the Gooderham and Worts Distillery, and has since been renovated and re-developed to feature numerous boutique retailers, cafes, restaurants, shops and art galleries. With over forty heritage buildings, the Distillery District boasts the largest collection of Victorian-era industrial architecture in North America. It is interesting to note that the Distillery District is the largest Hollywood set outside of Hollywood.
