From : RetroVision Theater
As predicted, the president’s sticks and stones tour is returning the poor response and low image ratings we thought he get as he visits Guatemala today and makes his way back the White House via a stop in Mexico for more bad news…. Bob Dole promises to get to the bottom of things in the care of the returning wounded as he claims the president has given him cart blanch to get the job done. We say, Yeah Right! …Andy Rooney had the balls to call the all volunteer military what it is; filled with, if not soon to be filled with, a bunch of less than desirables at best… Per Charlie Rangel, we need a draft… This podcast includes another episode of Suspense; Dime A Dance Girl

 From : TechnoFiles
Listen to the episode Today's guests include Dr. Jason Baird and Braden Lusk. Baird and his team of researchers are developing the technology necessary to make buildings blast-resistant. In a related project with Kontek, they have created steel-reinforced concrete barriers that link to form a barricade that can resist a 200-pound trinitrotoluene (TNT) blast, followed by the impact of a 20,000-pound truck traveling at 50 miles per hour, says Baird. Using this technology, Baird and his colleagues are integrating concepts used to develop the blast-resistant barriers into the actual design and architecture of a building, bridge, monument or other structure.
