Dennis Kucinich Videos

U.S. author, blogger, and activist David Swanson says that it's time for the American people to reclaim their country and create a new, different America. In his new book, Daybreak:Undoing the Imperial Presidency and Forming a More Perfect Union, Swanson warns of the deterioration of the very institutions that the United States was founded upon. He calls for citizens to take back the freedoms they have apparently lost throughout the past several years. RT's Dina Gusovsky sits down with Swanson in Washington D.C. as he tours the country to promote his book and progressive political views.

BHB Photo by Marc Hermann Brooklyn Heights resident and candidate for the Democratic nomination in the 33rd NYC Council District Doug Biviano received the endorsement of his mentor Representative Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) this morning. Biviano, his family and supporters  stood at the top of the steps of his 89 Montague Street campaign headquarters with Kucinich and his wife Elizabeth. The  2008 presidential candidate got right to the point, saying of Biviano, His drive, his honesty, his integrity, his willing to stand up for the public interest make him exactly the kind of person who is needed not only in Brooklyn in the City Council, but we need Doug Bivianos in City Councils all over the country. Kucinich, the prototypical Progressive Democrat,  added the he and his wife believe in Doug Biviano and that he s endorsing his former NY State campaign co-ordinator, So people will know that they have someone they can count on in the City Council. Several of the Democratic presidential candidates took questions from the media following the June 28, 2007 debate at Howard University. As you will see in the this video, not all questions were welcome. In the first part of the video, Dennis Kucinich is asked about anti-hate speech legislation, which the questioner frames as "chipping away at your constitutional First Amendment rights," irritating Kucinich. In the second part of the video, a person in the crowd of reporters harangues Bill Richardson about his participation in the Bohemian Grove Club, which the questioner refers to as place that conducts "mock human sacrifice." The questioner refuses to let up, even as reporters and bloggers in the crowd tell him to leave it alone. -andy
