Combined Arms Demonstration 2008 Rhode Island ANG Open House & Airshow Quonset State Airport North Kingstown, RI Saturday June 28, 2008 IN THIS VIDEO, watch as four UH-60 Blackhawks, a UH-1 Huey, and one C-130J-30 Hercules take part in the Combined Arms Demonstration. There are no A-10s in the demonstration because the two main A-10 units in the Northeast have gone on to new roles (Mass ANG with F-15s and CT ANG with C-21s). Thus, one UH-60 played the role of a gunship-equipped Blackhawk, and one of the C-130J-30s could not fly on Saturday because of a mechanical problem with the aircraft. Sunday's demo did have the full C-130J-30 compliment. Like what you've seen? This is me at my local shopping broadway doing a CPR Chest Compresion. This nice paramedic let me have a go at doing it and kindly helped me when I went wrong. What you have to do is:- Tilt the patients head backwards, pinch their nose and give 2 breathes into their mouth. The do the chest compression exercise 30 times, then give the patient 2 more breaths. Continue doing this the patient is alive or help arrives. Thanks goes to my mum for recording this - she stopped the filming just before something vital was said: "Keep doing these exercises until help arrives, i.e. A paramedic or a doctor". An cathode ray tube (CRT) television is connected to a video camera. When a strong magnet is brought close to the television screen, the image becomes warped and discolored.While many new televisions use flat screen technology, older CRTs produced images by firing electron guns (one red, one green, one blue) through the television body onto the back of the screen. When a magnet is brought close to the screen, it deflects the paths of the electron beams and distorts the picture. A strong enough magnetic field can even create a hole in the electron beams, causing a black spot on the picture. On June 30th, 2008, digging began on 82nd Avenue in Kew Gardens, Queens, NY for a 21 story hotel and residential unit. The construction surprised many in the neighborhood and would change the nature of the community for those who live there. There are valid arguments against the construction of this structure as proposed, including the impact of having a 21 story combination hotel and residential building on a block where traffic is already an issue, a school exists around the corner, parking nearby would become even more difficult, and the construction can compromise the foundation of adjoining buildings. Traffic studies have not been done. Recommended engineering procedures have been ignored and permits for building have been granted after being denied three times. No explanation has been given for the granting of permits this time. Much was done in secrecy and now neighbors and residents are told the construction is a done deal. This video is the second of two parts recorded July 8, 2008, at the first demonstration to stop the construction and inform the neighborhood about the construction plans and how it would adversely affect the equity and way of life for those who live nearby.
