"cat" begins the saga of "HUM, The Journey Begins" with the introduction of the opening episode, the Ist of VI parts. This is the first meeting with "Katalist," a youngster wiser than his years. The series will be somewhat biographical in tone with humor and a bit of action, every now and then, as "cat" explores the world outside of his environment, sometimes in the company of "Katalist," and sometimes not. This is a character study of 2 men and 1 lady. There will be 24 hours of footage that will be shown of which 2 hours will be shown on the Google YouTube network. There is an outside chance that all 24 hours will be shown on this channel depending on the response, comments, and viewership. I would like to thank FLY of Williams Mauro Cerri, of La Spezia, Italy - Internationally known Artist and Michael Palmieri of The Electric Alligator Ensemble. Mr. Palmieri contributed music heavily to "HUM, She Showers." To date, almost 14,000 viewers have seen "HUM, She Showers," and enjoyed his original contemporary classical compositions. Mr. Palmieri not only composes, he also teaches music composition and theory. He is a frequent annual performing composer at Carnegie Hall in New York along with the students that he teaches. A special thanks to Charles Burnett, fellow UCLA classmate, 1979 Critic's Choice Award Winner at the Berlin Film Festival for "Killer of Sheep," and Guggenheim and MacArthur Grant Winner. Charles Burnett's film, "My Brother's Wedding," was recently released in the United States through Milestone Film & Video. We made this film in 1983 - 1985 in Los Angeles. Mr. Burnett agreed to be my Director of Photography and Cameraman for the "HUM" series. Christopher Judkins plays the continuing starring role of "Katalist" in "HUM, The Journey Begins." Christopher also starred in my film "Arsonist & Commanda," in the role of "Artist."
