I don't do drugs," Ditto tells Spinner. "In our history, John Belushi, Mama Cass, Chris Farley, we just shouldn't do drugs. Because the truth is we're not unhealthier, we're not incapable, but we do put more on our heart and I would not choose to do something that would make my heart beat and then f---ing explode. Think about the skinny people that die on coke from heart attacks ... f--- that s---. Fat people shouldn't do drugs. No one should really do them, let's be honest." But the singer admits to doing Ecstasy once, at the urging of friends and fellow musicians. "I was like 25, I had never done drugs. I was with one of my favorite bands of all time, this band called Erase Errata," she recalls. "I was drunk and I was like, 'What is it?' They're like, 'Ecstasy. I promise it'll be fine, you're not gonna lose your mind.' They had to talk me into it, that's what made me do it. It wasn't just they were one of my favorite bands, it was that they were really my close friends."
