The Storm trailer Watch it Here: http://www.joiningthedots.tv/main.aspx?level=&content=355200413&search=weather Most sensible humans avoid extreme weather conditions if possible, but surfers long for the cyclone season which brings wild storms and thrilling waves. This gripping documentary follows world famous American surf tracker Mike Perry, whose lifelong obsession with global wave activity has earned him a reputation for forecasting the greatest waves around the globe for the world's thrill seeking surfers. Where do the waves come from? How do they form? What is a cyclone? Why do they start? What does it feel to ride a wave? These are questions answered in situ as Perry explains his passion, as 'The Storm' (the cyclone season) brings extreme weather conditions literally to his doorstep. A fantastic and refreshing mix of surf and science based on Australian's beautiful but treacherous Gold Coast. The storm meets those who track cyclones, and those who use this data to chase the biggest surfing waves. This is a fascinating look at these beautiful monsters, through the eyes of those who seek to tame them, and those who revere them for their power. Athlete #5 Leonard Johnson
from YouTube :: Tag // virginia January 08, 2008
Leonard Johnson ATH | 5'10" 177 Hometown: Largo, FL School: Largo High School Region: South Status: Verbal School: Iowa State -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scouts Grade: 76 Position Rank: ATH #62 Considered: 1-Iowa State , 2-Mississippi , 3-Memphis , 4-South Florida , 5-Illinois -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Evaluation: Johnson is a talented athlete who possesses the physical skills to potentially play more than one position at the next level. Currently excels as a dual-threat quarterback; can elude defenders with his exceptional footwork but flashes a strong, accurate arm as well -- he is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. We project he will take his great ball skills and fluidity over to defense at the next level, and will start his career off at cornerback. Great acceleration should give him the recovery speed needed as a pass defender. He possesses the loose hips and lateral quickness to stem wideouts in off-man and the deceptive upper-body strength to jam and play physical on press coverage. Good foot speed and burst should allow him to plant and drive quickly on underneath routes and attack perimeter runs. He is a deceptively tough, fast-twitched athlete who should provide good range on run support. His main issue right now is his lack of top-end speed; he often appears quicker than he is fast. We question his lack of height when challenged by today?s taller receivers on deep routes. Johnson could still be a weapon in the slot with his lateral quickness and good hands. Return skills in the kicking game only add to his upside. Great poise and instincts as a football player. Notes: Also recruited by Troy, Nebraska, Iowa, West Virginia...
