Do you use a Sanyo Xacti HD1000 camera? Have you seen the green mp4 of death? Not sure why? Well, my friend Mary Matthews of Videopancakes.com also had this problem recently and she pointed me to this Apple discussion thread to help her decipher the solution. Seems that the QuickTime H264 component that came with your Xacti software worked great with your camera, but then again QuickTime gets updated by Apple every few months and that little bit of software that makes your HD files actually work gets replaced. Huge bummer if you want to, oh um, use your footage. I sat down with Mary and helped her reinstate this little component and I thought I'd make a screencast walking through it so others could fix their systems too. There are some other solutions on that Apple thread if this doesn't work, but I hope it does. El pasado 23 de abril, compré la rosa a un grupo de personas que me regalaron el abecedario de la lengua de signos, siempre pensé que sólo existía una sola lengua pero resulta que son varias repartidas por el mundo como las lenguas habladas, y tienen una que es internacional la SSI ( Sistema de signos internacional ). Aunque anteriormente intentaron crear una lengua internacional llamada Gestuno, pero fracasó como el Esperanto. La lengua de los signos siempre me ha creado gran curiosidad, cuando las personas se ponen a dividir regiones por idioma y a discutir sobre imponer lenguas como el catalán o el castellano, me pregunto porque nunca hablan de las lenguas de signos ¿quién hable en signos tiene una cultura diferente a quién habla castellano o catalán o es de un país diferente? dejémonos de mirarnos el ombligo. El vídeo aunque no lo parezca se me cortó, me quedé sin espacio en el teléfono. From the producers description of the show: The American and Chinese economies are irreversibly intertwined. The common complaint that the Chinese are taking jobs away from American workers is in many cases true. China s cheap and abundant labor attracts manufacturing from all over the world. Still, American economists estimate that the U.S. is as much as $70 billion richer each year because of its relationship with China something must be going right. A number of U.S. companies are enjoying huge success in China. General Motors is the market leader in China and is reaping attractive profits, a stark contrast to its U.S. market position. Profits from their China businesses are having a significant influence on the global financial health of many U.S. companies. In fact, recent research indicates that companies pursuing a dual strategy of participating in China s local market and exporting from China are achieving substantially higher profits than those firms only doing one form of China business. The economies of China and the U.S. are, as Koppel reminds us, inextricably intertwined with benefits for both sides. As Koppel s documentary shows, globalization isn t the boogeyman some make it out to be. There s certainly a positive give-and-take between China, the U.S. and, of course, other countries around the world. Those companies proactively exploiting these relationships are going to be the winners going forward.
