Bacteria

Bacteria

from Favorites of milzes on August 14, 2008
Duration: 191
The voices in this song are sampled from a Kentucky Fried Chicken fast-food training video Jonathan Coulton found online. Something about it struck him, and he turned it into a song. This video was made for a Machinima.com UK video contest. However, since I don't live in the UK, I had to get my buddy Kerrin from the Jonathan Coulton Project (http://jocopro.libsyn.com), who does live in the UK, to enter the video in the contest instead. WE WON! Be sure to check out Jonathan Coulton's Web site for lots more clever, creative songs like this one. The song at the end of the video is Better , another great Jonathan Coulton song.

Jonathan Coulton is a singer/songwriter who releases his songs via the Creative Commons license, which enables projects such as this video. Visit Jonathan's Web site for lots more clever, creative songs like this one. Mike Spiff Booth is a Program Manager at Adobe who thought this great song really deserved a video. Please visit www.spiffworld.com for more information about my videos, including info about how I make them. The song at the end is Sweet Caroline , a Neil Diamond song that Jonathan and Paul Sweet Caroline makes for a sweet group sing-along. Jonathan Coulton concerts are a lot of fun. Video for the performance was shot by Gle3nn, and can be viewed at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twcKkXaraJM

Code Monkey

Code Monkey

from Favorites of DizZ on September 23, 2006
Duration: 228
This is a music video about the life of the common lowlands code monkey. Jonathan Coulton is a singer/songwriter who releases his songs via the Creative Commons license, which enables projects such as this video. Through his Thing A Week podcast, Jonathan has put out a clever, creative song like this one every week for a year. Mike Spiff Booth is a Program Manager at Adobe who though this great song really deserved a video. Before you ask, since apes, goblins, and night elf receptionists don't tend to interact much in the wild, I couldn't only use captured game footage to make this video. Every frame of this video was composited together by hand using images captured from the WoW Model Viewer, WoW Map Viewer, and the World of Warcraft game itself. No monkeys were harmed in the making of this film. Please visit www.spiffworld.com for more information about my videos, including info about how I make them. The song at the end of the video is Big Bad World One , another great Jonathan Coulton song.
