Authorities say testing showed no drugs in the goodies. (July 10)[Notes:ANCHOR VOICE] Christian Phillips is free to bake again.Texas authorities arrested the teen a few days ago for giving what they thought were drug-laced cookies to several police stations.He was charged with tampering with a consumer product and held on 75 thousand dollars bond.Phillips had been delivering treats on behalf of Mothers Against Drunk Driving when some officers say they smelled marijuana in the gift baskets.The 18 year old denied putting extra ingredients in the baked goods. He told detectives the odor may have come from a friend smoking pot while he was baking.Turns out that may be the truth. A county medical examiner's office confirms that there were no controlled substances in the cookies Phillips delivered. Officials say Phillips has been released and they are planning to drop the charge against him. The teen's lawyer says he just hopes his client will be able to move on with his life.Phillips was arrested last year for assaulting a police officer. He was sentenced to anger management class and 80 hours of community service-- which included the cookie delivery service for MADD.
