from Most Discussed September 30, 2008
FULL INTERVIEW 9/30 This is the full story/ full interview from Tuesday September 30th, 2008. Not just the gaffes. This interview was repeated with Katie Couric on The Early Show on October 1st, 2008. Katie Couric interviewing Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin on her campaign tour alongside her daughter Willow Palin. There is a segment with Katie Couric interviewing John McCain and Sarah Palin together and they talk about the energy issues like offshore drilling for oil and natural gas. Palin touts an all of the above approach. Of course they get a chance to call themselves mavericks . McCain has a great quote: You can say a lot about us, but we're anything but boring. Couric and Palin are then at a campaign stop where Palin makes a quip about listening to Senator Biden's senate speeches since she was in the 2nd grade. At one point Katie Couric asks Sarah Palin what newspapers or magazines did she read before being tapped for vice presidency. In her latest gaffe Sarah Palin responds by saying she's read most of them. And then a vast variety without actually naming any. Then Couric hits here with some hard questions about the cause of global warming, abortion for rape/incest victims, use of contraceptives and the morning after pill, homosexuals, and her gay best friend. She finishes by saying she's not going to judge people for what they do in their own home. This is the complete interview segment of Katie Couric interviewing Sarah Palin on September 30th, 2008. Also shown on the CBS Early Show with Katie Couric.
