The True Face of the Iranian Regime

The True Face of the Iranian Regime

from recent posts - blip.tv (beta) on November 20, 2009
Duration: 146
Brazilian President Lula da Silva will soon be welcoming an official state visit by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. We would have preferred Brazil be using its growing voice on the international stage to help curb Iran's nuclear ambitions and support for terrorist groups. The June elections that kept Ahmadinejad in power were challenged by accusations of fraud and subsequent street protests during which dozens of citizens were assassinated. Ahmadinejad is a president who calls for the destruction of another country, denies the Holocaust, and violates the rights of the Iranian people, overseeing the execution of juveniles and homosexuals. We would have liked to see an open democracy like Brazil not be welcoming him. The Iranian regime must be condemned by the international community, and its leaders must be diplomatically and economically isolated". Distributed by Tubemogul.
