Industrial Wasteland is among the oldest of all Anything Box songs. It was supposed to be on Peace, but we voted it out. I was secretly thinking it would be on our 2nd album, Worth. That proved to be wrong due to the album s darker leanings, and although I feel the lyrics in Industrial Wasteland reflected Worth s sensibility, the arrangements were too poppy. Somehow, the song seems to have remained stuck in 1988, a twist of time and its solid grip holding it to its own retro condition. And yet, I still love playing it. Why is that? -- Claude S. This version of Every Single Day is the Remix that I did back in 1994. The video was directed by Greg Baird, a college student that Dania knew. We sometimes looked at this one a failed attempt to capture the Pop Rave scene that was in Los Angeles. Although we were not part of it officially, we were always invited to play these events. At what was supposed to be the largest, the cops showed up and arrested everyone. Our equipment was thought stolen, but it was later given back to us by a fan that had managed to keep it from the police. Talk about good luck, huh? Heaven60 is a song I wrote about the two absolutes in life: being born and dying. What do we do with the uncertain in-between? Contemplate or experience it? It was also a goodbye to my father who died of Cancer. Aside from that, the meaning is up for debate, which is what songs should do. This was recorded in El Paso at Club 101. The footage was badly damaged, and so I had to re-create the track, using both the vocals from the tape and the original song when the drop outs happen. When We Lie is a testament to how far some people will go to film a concert. The guy who submitted this footage had five friends with cameras at the show, and the footage was stitched together from all the angles that were shot. The audio was restored as much as we could, and it is quite good. I love the girl close-up towards the end. It always brings a smile to my face This was in Mexico, where shortly after this song, a riot broke out and we had to run for our lives as fans chased us. Dania s mom was with us, too. Yesterday was an unfair whim of mine. I convinced the band to do it as an encore and it almost didn t happen. None of them really knew the chords, we had never rehearsed it. Gary and Dave worked out their parts just seconds before and we went for it. I think it is one of my happiest of moments. Y la popular pagina MySpace esta pasando por unos cambios drasticos de redisen~o con el proposito de arreglar los problemas y quejas de muchos de sus usuarios. El Nuevo MySPace estara disponible a partir del 18 de junio e incluira una nueva pagina inicial, un mapa de navegacion mas avanzado y una Nueva y mejorada herramienta de busqueda. Time Warner esta relanzando su difunta cadena WB atraves de la internet. Warner Brothers Television Group a firmado un negocio de distribucion cibernetica que tendra su contenido disponible en los sindicatos Sling Media, Joost, Daily Motion, TiVo, y Veoh, pero no en Hulu.
