Silent Remasters returns to the Mercury Cinema (13 Morphett St, Adelaide, Australia) in 2009 with four new original scores to four classic silent films, performed live. The Cabinet of Dr Caligari (Supermarket rescore), Seven Chances (Aaron Kenny Rescore), The Phantom Carriage (The Pagan Collective rescore) & the Sentimental Bloke (BVA & the Lost Evidence rescore) will screen on consecutive Mondays and Thursdays from Nov. 26 to Dec. 7. Trailer features 'Fairground Dub' by Supermarket, was edited by Emma Sterling and produced by danimations. Distributed by Tubemogul.

Ann McNeil is a tibetan buddhist nun who serves as a chaplain at several BC prisons. She talks about the work she does to support and guide prisoners in buddhism and meditation. She is part of a panel discussion discussing meditation in prison happening Monday, November 16 at Langara College in Vancouver. It's part of a screening of the film "The Dhamma Brothers".
