Carlisle called yesterday. He wanted me to email pictures I took of his boat, last winter, while we cruised in the Bahamas.As I rummaged through my photo files I was reminded that we often kept our eyes on the skies, watching for cold fronts.Cold fronts are accompanied by howling westerly winds and lumpy seas. Finding a good place to hide, checking anchors and prayer are common activities for boaters prior to a cold front.
