ClipBandits "2pointOh" Sound Check for Upcoming Video

ClipBandits "2pointOh" Sound Check for Upcoming Video

This is a video of ClipBandit conducting a sound check in preparation for upcoming ClipBandits video 2pointOh . Seeing that the lighting and sound were coming across well with the new recording configuration, ClipBandit improvised a guitar solo for about 8 minutes. All the playing in this isn't great, there was no warming up, but decided to leave the good, the bad and the ugly all in there. This session was intended only to get audio and video set up right for the upcoming video with no intention at the time of playing or publishing it. It just is what it is. Previously, each of the ClipBandits recorded their parts using webcams only. This time, they're all wiring up the right way to step up their game. ClipBandits became instant YouTube sensations with the release of their first video Internet Killed the Video Star . As the World's First Web Band, ClipBandits received much attention in the media, being featured on ABC World News, Good Morning America and met each other for the first time and performed on the Tyra Banks Show. Check the ClipBandits YouTube channel to see the history of the ClipBandits unfold. The original art hanging on the wall in the background was created by Michael Rios (large center piece) and by Jack Boasberg (smaller pieces on either side). Michael Rios created the last four Santana CD covers and all the backdrops for Santana live concerts for over 20 years. Jack Boasberg is a New Orleans based artist. www.ClipBandits.com (c) 2008

Memorial Day Moment of Silence on YouTube

Memorial Day Moment of Silence on YouTube

Clipandits find it ironic the U.S. government has decided to cut off access to YouTube for military personnel stationed around the world. Yes, they can view YouTube from their own computers at home, but doesn't do a lot of good for soldiers on the battlefield who only have access to defense department issued computers. We believe if servicemen are sent out to fight war, they should at least have the choice to view what they want on the Internet.
