In Calvert Cliffs, Maryland, state residents could see the effects of a proposed third reactor in terms of jobs. Unistar/Constellation Energy says building a third reactor would create 4,000 temporary construction jobs and 360 permanent jobs. Offering a different remedy, a study conducted by the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy claims 12,000 green jobs could be added to the state by 2025. In order to do so the study claims an investment in energy efficiency, combined heat and power technology, and better management is necessary. http://www.EmploymentCrossing.com

A clip of Dan Osman as he polishes off a free-soloing climb (no gear/equipment) up a vertical face. He died on November 23, 1998 attempting a "rope jumping" (free fall) stunt at Yosemite National Park. It was a 1000 foot drop, but the rope failed him. It was supposed to be his last rope jump before retiring. More info available at wikipedia.
