Beach Walk 678R - Use Data to Build ConfidenceBeach Walk 678R - Use Data to Build Confidence
from Beach Walks with Rox
September 01, 2008

Please enjoy this summer replay! Some people are confident naturally; here are some tips for the rest of us. My friend Chris Brogan recently recorded a podcast about it. (Link removed as the file is no longer available.) Today's episode of Beach Walks (filmed on an amazing day!!) came from my decisions to "swim first" and do the show second. One of the ways I've learned to build confidence is to be able to resist my feelings, and use data to inform my decisions and actions. That pesky #2 personality is frequently there to play the emotion card, which can keep us thinking and feeling "one down." Hawaiian Word: Paulele _confidence_

It was raining today and I didn't sleep well this weekend, so rather than rough it in the elements, I chose to (find my hjumanity) and stay in and create a meditation for all of us. Today's episode is dedicated to Chris Brogan - you were in my heart tonight Chris. And by a strange coincidence, we were both Twittering today at the same moment, about this article in the New York Times concerning the Web World of 24/7 Stress.I love also that this music led me to the music of the Indigo Musicians. Their links are below. Indigo Musicians "Falling Leaves" (mp3) from "Spa-Music to Relax By" (DIGITAL MARKETING GROUP, LLC) Buy at iTunes Music StoreHawaiian word: Ilikai: horizon

So I was wondering where does one go to find some inspiration Geniuses at work and creativity in motion. And there I was at GeekCon on September '07. So there is this guy, and his name is Dror He likes to wrap his blogs to a different beat. There's Malik and Pravda, Scoble and Brogan, Pulver and Cuban and the Blonde named Ayelet He turned their blogs into songs - About some google phones and facebook tips. A song about Jobs and his stupid iPod pet tricks Social Networking - what makes it tick? A Cuban who still thinks the Internet is dead and boring and someone who's confused and thinks about Internet Mornings. And this is where this wrap ends. GeekCon is the place where the songwriting started. Visit Blog2Song and send your blog: we'll write a song about it. --- Words Written at GeekCon 2007 by: Jeff Pulver, Dror Gill, Ayelet Yagil.
