I recently had the tremendous honor of joining my friends Kevin Cross and Joshua Kemble as a guest on their awesome podcast Big Illustration Party Time.? It is an amazing resource for anyone interested in freelance illustration. The topic that we discussed was character design so each of us did a ?homework assignment? before the episode where we had to design a ?hero.?? I came up with an alien janitor in cut-offs. I did a screen capture of the entire painting and I have split that video into two parts. The first part, this episode, will be accompanied by a series of audio clips from my guest appearance on Big Illustration Party Time. In the next part, I will go into further detail via voiceover about the process of creating and finishing this painting.

You may have seen this movie a thousand times, but did you notice the gem of a blooper at the one hour twenty two minute mark(of the Extended edition Episode 4) It happens during the scene while C-3p0 and R2D2 are in the Death Star hangar control room and they are waiting for the Rescue party to return. Stormtroopers enter the room and the one on the right has trouble seeing. It's classic, it's epic, and the sound effect has been added in on the foley track. Classic blooper no true Star Wars fan should miss. Go watch the movie right after this vid to laugh your ass off!
