Harry Potter-Beleive In you-beleve in magic
from YouTube :: Tag // potter July 23, 2008
I never believed in dreaming, it never got me very far. I never believed that love could find me, like an arrow through the heart. I never believed in miracles, or building castles in the air. Not until that day I found you, turned around and you were there. From the day you came, you gave me, a whole new point of view. I've been touched by an angel, it's impossible, but true. I believe in you. I swear that forever from today, no one will ever take your place. I believe in you. And I believe our love will last always. I never believed in fairy tales, tho sometimes I wish I could, I never believed that golden slippers could ever find the perfect foot. I never believed in magic, or that wishes could come true, But your very first kiss changed all this, something only you could do. You made me a believer, you made me trust again, You showed there's a pot of gold, at every rainbow's end. I believe in you. I swear that forever from today, no one will ever take your place. I believe in you. And I believe our love will last always. Only love, sets you free, And if you serve to fate, then you're my destiny. Now I know, now I see. Anything can happen, if you just believe. I believe in you. I swear that forever from today, no one will ever take your place. I believe in you. from DigElogROCORI July 19, 2008
*QUICKTIME *Phone In this edition of the ROCORI City Update, Larry Lahr reminds Cold Spring citizens about the “do’s and don’ts” of Hometown Pride Days garage sale signage. For those of you who missed last weeks city update, Larry discussed some of the events that are coming up next weekend (July 25 & 26th) for Hometown Pride Days. You can also see a full-length feature story on Hometown Pride Days that was sponsored by the planning committee. Rena Weber gives us a very brief update this week about the status of Rockville’s “electronic initiative.” So far so good as there have been no complaints about the council packets being shifted to online instead of paper. The other updates Rena shared are in regards to an informational meeting that will be held later this month about Rockville potentially installing wind turbines. Lastly, the city will be doing nitrate testing for residents who have their own private water wells at the end of August. For more information on the testing feel free to call city hall. Dan Coughlin could not join us this week but he wanted all the citizens of the ROCORI area to know that Richmond is hosting their annual River Lake Days this weekend. You can see a promotional video for River Lake Days that features footage from last years events. We hope you all can make it out and enjoy the festivities.

"ON THE BANKS OF PLUM CREEK" * July 13, 2005
from DigElogROCORI July 16, 2008
*QUICKTIME *Phone It's now been over 3 years since Duane Kuss, creator/inventor/publisher of the DigElog Network began an experiment with publishing videos to an online blog. It was during the summer of 2005, Duane first created his own personal video blog called, My Stories Of Life Since that time the DigElog Network has published over 1,600 video stories online. This story has us joining the Kuss family as they embark on a visit to Walnut Grove, MN. The story is unique from a technical perspective in that Duane incorporates the use of video off of a digital still camera as a part of your Walnut Grove online experience. Even the footage you'll see here of the community play held each evening during the summer was captured using the same digital still camera. Here's how the story was titled back on July 13th, 2005 Laura Ingalls Wilder lived 1.5 miles north of Walnut Grove along the banks of Plum Creek from 1874 to 1876. Charles and Caroline Ingalls settled on the property in May 1874 declaring their intent to homestead it. Laura later in life would write a series of books that included, On the Banks of Plum Creek . Take a mini video journey back into the life and story of Laura Ingalls Wilder. My lovely wife Bette read the book to the rest of the family before we headed down to Walnut Grove and the Wilder Pageant . This became a wonderous step back in time for the entire family.

ROCORI City Update * July 9, 2008
from DigElogROCORI July 09, 2008
*QUICKTIME *Phone In this edition of the ROCORI Update, the three city administrators discuss some unique items that are going on in their respective towns. ROCKVILLE Rena Weber tells us about a new tactic that the Rockville City Council is employing to help cut down city spending. The City Council Packets are now online and you can view those packets @ www.rockvillecity.org. This was done in an effort to cut down on delivery spending (specifically gasoline) as well as move the city in a more “virtual” direction where as in the future, all city documents will be online. COLD SPRING Larry Lahr gives us an update on the Hometown Pride Days festival which is coming up at the end of this month. For more detailed information, look for the yellow flyers that feature times and locations for all of the events. ROCORI Baseball vs Albany (Winner Goes To State!)
from DigElogROCORI July 08, 2008
*QUICKTIME *Phone In their third match-up of the Section Playoffs, the Spartans once again started out strong against the Albany Huskies. They looked to capitalize early on poor fielding by the Albany defense. However, in the fourth inning Luke Vossen’s arm began to wear out after a long playoff road that included one ten inning victory. Ultimately, the Spartans just ran out of gas as they lost to the Huskies in this Section Final. Although it was up and down, the Spartans managed to finish the season strong, and hopefully their finish can be a building block for the players that are returning next year. ***************************************** Special thanks to Central Minnesota Federal Credit Union who sponsored this story. Tarik O'Regan 'Scattered Rhymes : Part II'
from YouTube :: Tag // newyork July 08, 2008
Tarik Hamilton O'Regan (born 1 January 1978, London) is a British composer, partly of North African extraction, currently living in New York City and Cambridge, England. Scattered Rhymes ('Rime sparse', as Petrarch describes his work in the first poem of the Canzoniere sequence) by Tarik O'Regan presents an interlacing of two fourteenth-century texts which each toy with the ambiguities of intertwining sensuous and divine love. One stemming from England and one from the influences of Papal Avignon, these texts and this composition are designed to be performed alongside Machaut's Messe de Nostre Dame. Scattered Rhymes was commissioned by the Spitalfields Festival, London, and first performed with the Joyful Company of Singers. Chorus: Desiderio nimis officit, dum vix gaudio pectus sufficit, quod concipio dum Venerio Flora reficit me colloquio, dum, quem haurio, favus allicit dato basio. Performed : Orlando Consort Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir Dir : Paul Hillier Author: gppkoq Keywords: classical Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir Scattered Rhymes Tarik O'Regan Added: July 8, 2008
