http://www.mfeenz.com - Whitney Houston performed I Look to You in New York's Central Park on Sept. 1, 2009. It was an emotion-filled performance that she sang to her mother, Cissy Houston, who was off to the side of the stage. Whitney couldn't hold back the tears. She blamed her lackluster voice on doing an interview with Oprah the day before the free concert. For a recap of the show, check out http://www.mfeenz.com

There are 92 days until the Nike Women's Marathon, and I'm a little over two months into training. I started to feel like I was missing out on sharing what a wonderful experience I was going through, so I picked up my camera! This particualr run was a 4 mile race held in Central Park to benefit the Central Park Conservatory, and holy mess it was HOT! I focused on my race strategy as planned out by my awesome Team In Training coaches, and in the end, the run was great! Now, the million dollar question...why am I running? I'm running to do something more meaningful with my time, raise money for cancer research, and meet amazing people in a city that can be such a circus (not to mention, WOW do I feel great running this much!).To support my effort in training for the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco, please visit my Team In Training page, and donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society http://tinyurl.com/runwithmeAnd to contribute: GO RUN! Tell me why, then post it! http://www.runwithme.tumblr.com-Michelle

We headed to New York City over the weekend to mainly do tourist-y sightseeing. We definitely accomplished that goal. In this, the first of three parts, we're taking the Staten Island Ferry as a cheap alternative to going to the Statue of Liberty directly. Also, we check out the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue, Central Park, and Times Square (Ali was excited about that). Carlos could barely hide his disappointment when he saw that the Statue of Liberty is not nearly as big as it appears in TV or in the movies. All video is done with the Nokia N93, for some pictures of the trip, go to my blog at alexwrege.com
